1.) Hockey Passing Drill - Moving

This off-ice passing drill is designed for beginners, to improve their passing, while moving simultaneously.  In this drill you will pass the puck against PassMaster, while moving backwards at the same time.

Note: As you become comfortable, begin moving backwards faster and releasing your passes quicker.  Don’t overlook the benefits of this drill as this is a passing drill that coaches have their players at every level practice (in some form).

2.) Hockey Passing Drill - Stationary

This is another beginning level drill for players looking to improve their fundamentals of passing.

3.) Skilled Hockey Passing Drill

This passing drill starts with receiving a pass from the PassMaster, followed by a skillful transition of the puck behind your back, into a backhand shot.  After a few rounds, move the PassMaster to the other side and start with a backhand pass, and end with a forehand shot.

4.) Hockey Passing/Stickhandling Drill

This drill utilizes the PassMaster to make a quick pass on both the forehand and backhand, before stickhandling to the other side of your body and taking a shot on goal.  There are many variations and ways to do this drill so feel free to mix it up.

5.) Hockey Passing Drill - Defensemen

In this drill you will work on making crisp passes, while moving backwards at the same time. This drill also benefits wings receiving breakout passes.  Beginners check out Hockey Passing Drill #1.

6.) Hockey Backhand Passing Drill

Similar to Hockey Passing Drill #5, in this video you will catch and make a pass off the PassMaster on your backhand (rather than your forehand), while moving backwards at the same time.

7.) Skilled Hockey Trick Shot

This is a fun hockey drill to work on your hand-eye coordination.  In this drill you will pass a puck off of the PassMaster, before flipping it up to yourself, and batting it out of mid-air. This a skilled hockey play that may happen during a game.

Take this drill a step further and turn it into a competition with your friends, siblings and/ or teammates and see who can score the most.

 8.) Hockey Scoring Drill – Intermediate/ Advanced

In this drill you will give and receive a pass from the PassMaster, before changing the angle on the goalie and shooting on net. This is a skill that can help players score a lot of goals if practiced and done correctly.

The more you can make the goalie move the more chances he/she has to make a mistake and the more chances you give yourself to score.

9.) Fun Hockey Drill

In this drill you will pass a puck off of the PassMaster and let the puck go into your feet mimicking a bad pass in a game. You will then kick the puck to your stick and release a quick shot on net.

This is a great drill that can be utilized by both forwards and defensemen.

10.) Hockey Shot - One Timer

In this drill you will pass the puck off of the PassMaster and one time the puck on net using your backhand. This type of shot is meant to catch the goalie off guard, as it forces the goalie to move a long distance in order to cover the net for the shot.

11.) Ultimate Hockey Passing Drill

In this drill you will alternate passing and catching pucks on both your forehand and backhand, releasing shots on net as quickly as possible.  This is a drill that’s designed to help improve hand quickness as it forces you to catch your own pass and release a quick shot on net.

12.) Multi-Skilled Hockey Drill

In this drill you will pass the puck off of the PassMaster, receive the pass, and bank the puck off the outside of your foot onto your stick, before releasing a quick shot on goal.  This is a great drill you can use during games to fake out players and goalies.

13.) Hockey Passing / Shooting Drill

In this drill you will pass the puck on your backhand off of the PassMaster that is placed behind you before catching the puck and quickly releasing a shot on net.

After you’re comfortable doing this drill on your forehand, switch sides and practice it on your backhand (forehand pass to backhand shot).

14.) Hockey Passing And Shooting Drill

For this you’ll need two PassMasters.  In this drill you will alternate passing on two PassMasters to work on quick forehand and backhand passing. After a few passes each way, try and release a quick shot on goal.  This drill is designed to improve hand speed and puck control.

15.) Forehand Passing, Backhand Shot

This drill mimics a real game situation perfectly.  In this drill you will pass the puck off of the PassMaster and catch it on your forehand, before releasing a quick shot off of your backhand.

16.) Hockey Skilled Backhand Shot

In this drill you will pass the puck off of the PassMaster, receive the puck on your forehand, before executing a backhand toe pull and releasing a backhand shot on goal.

17.) Hockey Rebound Drill – All Ages & Levels

In this drill you will simulate a rebound shot in a game. Begin with passing the puck hard off of the PassMaster placed near the net, before releasing a quick one timer on goal.

Being able to quickly and accurately release a one-timer off of a rebound in front of the net is a skill that will help you net you significantly more goals.

18.) Fun Hockey Goal Scoring Drill – Intermediate Drill

In this drill you will pass the puck off of the PassMaster placed by the goal, receive the pass on your forehand, and move the puck through your legs releasing a quick shot on net surprising the goalie.

This is a perfect move to get the puck from one side of your body to the other (especially in front of the net) when there are sticks preventing you from simply moving the puck directly across your body.

19.) Skilled Hockey Drill

In this drill you will pass a puck off of the PassMaster, flip the puck up to yourself (catch it) and toss it up quick, batting the puck out of mid-air for a goal.

This is another fun drill you can easily turn into a competition with your friends to see who has the best hand eye coordination.

Tell us on social media how many goals in a row you scored from batting it out of the air on this drill, we’d love to hear.

20.) Hockey Skilled Juggle Drill – Backhand – Advanced

Similar to drill #19, in this drill you will pass the puck off of the PassMaster, flip the puck up to yourself (don’t catch it), and bat it out of mid-air on net using your backhand.
