Celebrate Minnesota Hockey Day 2020 with Events and Deals

The NHL’s Minnesota Wild is putting on its 14th Annual Hockey Day in Minnesota. The event celebrates the amazing hockey community in the “State of Hockey” and includes a number of events for hockey players and fans of all types and levels. The 3-day event begins on Thursday, January 15, and runs through Saturday, January 18. 

To help Minnesotans celebrate this amazing hockey-filled weekend, Snipers Edge Hockey is offering a special deal for Minnesota residents ONLY where you can receive an additional 15% off. The offer is valid through Sunday, January 19th. 

Hockey Day 2020 takes place this year in Minneapolis. The events are split between the iconic Minneapolis Sculpture Garden in downtown Minneapolis, at a specially constructed outdoor rink in Parade Stadium, and the home of the Wild, the Xcel Energy Center. 

In addition to the daily Hockey Day events going on at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, there will be 6 outdoor games in Parade Stadium. The 3 games on Saturday will be televised live on FOX Sports North. The weekend will conclude with the Wild taking on the division rival Dallas Stars. 

The schedule of games includes:

• Thursday, January 16th – Parade Stadium 
  • 6 pm – Girls High School Hockey – Holy Angels vs. Minneapolis
  • 8 pm – Girls High School Hockey – and Grand Rapids-Greenway vs. Blake.
• Friday, January 17th – Palace Stadium
  • 7 pm – Minnesota NHL Alumni Game
• Saturday, January 18th – Parade Stadium
  • 9:30 am – Boys High School Hockey – Warroad vs. Minneapolis  
  • 1 pm – Boys High School Hockey – Blaine vs. Blake
  • 4:30 pm – Women’s College Hockey – the University of Minnesota vs. Ohio State.
• Saturday, January 18th – Xcel Energy Center 
  • 8 pm – NHL Hockey – Minnesota Wild vs. Dallas Stars
