NOVO Shooting Target

This target is easy to setup and use. My 12 year old took it right outof the packaging himself and installed it. He can easily take if offwhen needed. The target has been used on both a knee hockey net as wellas a outdoor standard net. The target's construction has easily handledfoam balls, Dek hockey balls (~55 MPH) and standard pucks

These are nice shoting targets, but they do have some shortcomings. The targets are a nice size, and they stick in about 8-10 inches from the bar, which is nice. I'm not accurate enough to hit the 3 inch soft magnetic targets you see from another hockey company. The elastic and hook connector fits well around a hockey post (including the back post, so you can target deeper in the net if you want). The material is durable and gives a unique thwack sound when you drill it.The downsides are:1) Price - the price is pretty high for just a single target, but I knew it was one target when I ordered, so I won't deduct any stars for that.2) Why only a single target to begin with? Skaters should mix up their shots, so one target could lead to bad habits. Again I won't deduct a star for something I knew in advance.3) The connector secures to a full-size post, but we also have a street hockey goal that we carry around to basketball courts which has narrower pipes. The targets are pretty loose on those narrower pipes, so after 1-2 hits, the target rotates back a bit. If the hook or friction from the elastic catch, the target can end up hanging at like a 30-45 degree angle, giving a much smaller target. Even on the full-size post, it does rotate a bit if you hit closer to the end. This is the only point I used to downgrade one star. If I wanted to walk up to correct it, I'd get the magnetic targets.I like the thwak sound, but I'm not sure I can fully recommend the product because it makes little sense to install only one target at this price.

Wowza! I thought I got 4 or is if these for nearly $50... Nope. Just one. For that price, this thing is EXPENSIVE! I'm not convinced it has that much value considering the other options available. If you go this option, I suggest getting at least two, and 4 is preferred.Functionally, they work pretty well. The red plastic flexes which makes them more durable when hit, but it also flexes and doesn't stay "flat".Honestly, for nearly $200 to get all four corners, I'll stick to my little corner nets.

The NOVO target is an outstanding product that truly delivers on its promises. Its premium polyurethane construction is built to last, making it perfect for powerful shooters and team training. The UV-resistant design ensures it can endure all weather conditions, whether used indoors or outdoors, making it versatile for at-home practice or team drills at the rink. The high-visibility design, featuring a bold red color with white accents, is a fantastic feature that enhances shot precision and helps score more goals. The secure and adjustable fit, thanks to the patented attachment system with stretchable rubber tubing, allows for quick setup and easy adjustment to goalpost thickness, ensuring a tight fit without any falling or drooping. All of these factors make it a good value.Additionally, the fast setup and minimal reset time are a huge advantage. The target stays in place after impact, allowing for more shooting and less time wasted on re-attaching targets during training sessions. Overall, the NOVO target is a must-have for anyone looking to improve their shooting skills and enjoy a hassle-free training experience.

Good target, doesnt warp too much even after multiple hits, easy to rig and take downPretty durable, functions well, definitely has me feeling more accurate

Obviously, this is super easy to set up and install. The plastic is durable, even in the colder temps. It strapped right onto our net, and hasnt budged. It never seems to struggle hanging straight down, which is much nicer than some of the velcro options currently out there.

This target is clearly well made and designed to withstand long-term use, even for shooters who consistently take hard shots. The polyurethane construction feels substantial and durable, and it gives confidence that the product will last for many seasons of training. Attachment to the goal is straightforward and intuitive, which minimizes setup time and reduces frustration during practice sessions. The secure fit remains stable after repeated impacts, allowing for continuous shooting without frequent adjustments.Despite these strengths, I am removing one star due to value considerations. At approximately $45, the price feels steep given that only a single target is included, especially when comparable products often include four targets at a similar price point. While the build quality likely justifies part of the cost, the limited quantity reduces overall value for individual or team training environments. Overall, this is a solid four-star product that excels in durability and ease of use, but the pricing structure makes it difficult to justify a full rating.
