Welcome to Snipers Edge Hockey (www.snipersedgehockey.com). We’re based in Minnesota and dedicated to helping you "Elevate Your Game" with the best training gear on the planet. To do that, we collect some data. Here’s the play-by-play on how we handle it.

1. The Data We Collect (The Roster)

We collect information to get your gear to your door and make your experience better:

  • Order Info: Name, shipping/billing address, email, and phone number (so we can ship those heavy Hockey Tiles!).
  • Payment Info: Processed securely through Shopify (we don’t see your full credit card number).
  • Device Info: Using Elevar and Google Analytics, we see your IP address, browser type, and how you move around the rink (our website).
  • Marketing Info: If you sign up via our pop-ups, we keep your email and SMS for "Top Cheese" deals and tips.

2. Why We Use It (The Game Plan)

  • To fulfill orders and provide customer support.
  • To improve our site (making sure the "Add to Cart" button is always in the right lane).
  • To show you relevant gear through targeted ads (if you’ve opted in).

3. Cookies & Tracking (The Equipment)

We use cookies (small files on your device) to keep the site running:

  • Strictly Necessary: Essential for checkout (like the _pay_session cookie).
  • Analytics: To see how players use the site (Google Analytics).
  • Functional: To remember your currency or language.
  • Marketing: Used by our partners to show you relevant training gear.

4. Regional Rights (The Rulebook)

Minnesota (MCDPA)

As a Minnesota-based company, we respect the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act. Residents have the right to:

  • Confirm if we are processing your data.
  • Correct inaccuracies or delete your data.
  • Opt-out of targeted advertising and profiling.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California fans have the right to:

  • Know what categories of data we collect.
  • Request deletion of personal information.

Quebec (Law 25) & Canada (PIPEDA)

For our Canadian teammates, we comply with Law 25 and PIPEDA:

  • We only collect what’s necessary for your order.
  • We protect your data with "Server-Side" security via Elevar.

We share information with service providers (e.g., payment processors, analytics services) only as needed for business operations. These partners are contractually required to use your data only as instructed by us and never for their own purposes.
